Manuscript&ComputerTwo Oregon-based publishers are open to unagented submissions. Forest Avenue Press is looking for literary fiction, while Wyatt-MacKenzie Publishing welcomes nonfiction, fiction, and poetry.

Forest Avenue Press: March 1 Deadline

This publisher is interested in literary fiction, especially realistic contemporary novels. The submission call is only for writers who reside in the United States. Forest Avenue Press plans to choose three manuscripts from this submission call. The deadline is March 1, 2016, so submit now!

Wyatt-MacKenzie Publishing

This is a traditional press that offers advances and international distribution, but it also offers a self-publishing option for the more entrepreneurial authors. Wyatt-MacKenzie’s books include memoirs, parenting books, self-help books, poetry, and fiction.

  1. wow . sucks that I’ll be in Japan and wont have the time to submit and work on new work for a little bit. Wish this was around in 2013 when I finished my other book. 😦 But I’ll keep an eye on this info just in case! Thank you for posting it!
