Full Fathom Five Digital (FFF Digital), a publisher of electronic books, is looking for unpublished or self-published novels in four genres—romance, mystery/thriller, horror, and science fiction/fantasy—through a writing contest. A $10,000 grand prize and a publishing deal will be awarded to one winner, while three finalists will each be offered a publishing contract.
FFF Digital is an imprint of Full Fathom Five, which published “I am Number Four” and the popular Lorien Legacies science fiction series. The company was founded in 2010 by best-selling author James Frey.
The FFF Digital writing contest is free. It will run through Nov. 30, 2014, 11:59 p.m., Eastern Time. To enter the competition, take note of the following:
Manuscript: Your original, unpublished or self-published work of fiction must be at least 50,000 words. There is no maximum word limit. It could be for adult, new adult, or young adult readers.
Participants and Submissions: You must be at least 13 years old to enter the contest. You may enter multiple submissions. A manuscript written by multiple writers should be submitted as a single entry.
The contest winner will be announced on Feb. 25, 2015. Submissions that don’t make the final cut will still be considered for publication. For more information about the contest and to submit your manuscript, go to: http://fullfathomfive.com/?page_id=780
